How did this come to our attention?
In response to the pandemic, NLVS made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend in-person clinic operations. Teams of physicians and medical students continue to check in with patients regarding their health
and well-being and assist them with medication refills through the phone. Sensing an unprecedented resource crisis, we also started a GoFundMe to raise funds to support the community we serve, many of whom already
live below the poverty line and are disproportionately affected by the pandemic and stay-at-home orders. We will use the funds raised to purchase non-perishable food items and essentials for our uninsured and underserved patients.
