NLVS Tutoring is a free tutoring program in the Chicagoland area dedicated to providing your K-12 student the most suitable tutoring and mentoring resources for them to excel in their academic journey.
- Your child will be paired one-on-one with an experienced Chicago university or medical student tutor
- These private tutoring sessions will take place at your nearest university campus that has a suitable tutor for your child
- Tutoring sessions will be 2x a week to foster a more effective learning curriculum for your child
- The first session will be 90 minutes and in-person
- The second session will be 30 minutes over Zoom
- There will be a supervisor at each tutoring session for you to reach easily
- The tutor will work closely with you and your child (as well as your child’s teacher if that is something that your family is interested in) to tailor your child’s tutoring to their needs
- Our tutors will also serve as a mentor to help your student through any skills that they need to overcome educational barriers
