New Life Volunteering Society (NLVS) is a developing national and secular not-for-profit service organization. NLVS focuses on easing the pain and suffering of mankind. It primarily targets its attention on 4 groups of people: the hungry, homeless, mentally and physically disabled, and underprivileged children. Providing a healthy and nurturing environment is crucial for the stimulation of progress to all individuals.

The NLVS Tutoring Program, run by the UIC NLVS chapter, continues to be one of the most referred programs for Chicago Public school students between Kindergarten and 12 th grade .
